I’m Dr. Fossil, but please call me Audrey. This year will be my 10th year as a Family Medicine Provider at Salud. I love to help families be healthy. When I was little, I hurt my leg running through the forest. A doctor fixed my leg and helped me feel brave—that’s what inspired me to become a doctor myself. I never stopped running, and now I’m a marathon runner when I’m not treating patients at Salud. I love to explore in the mountains. After teaching English as a second language for two years in Hondinoras, I have loved dedicating myself to underserved populations so they can receive the quality healthcare they need and deserve. I always tell my patients that they can do so much for their health by getting 60 minutes or more of exercise a week, like brisk walking. Combined with a balanced diet, this can do so much for your overall health, including your mental health!
